A new exhibition celebrating the creative talents of Kingston University students is now on display at Kingston Hospital, showcasing the power of art to enhance healthcare environments and support wellbeing.

The exhibition is located in the Surgical Centre link corridor to Esher Wing and will remain on display until early 2027.

The exhibition has been made possible through the work of STUDIO KT1 and highlights the ongoing collaboration between Kingston University and Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust, bringing contemporary student artwork from academic settings into a hospital environment.

The display aims to enrich the experience of patients, visitors and staff by creating a welcoming and uplifting space, while providing an opportunity for emerging artists to share their work with the local community.

Yarlini Roberts, Chief Finance Officer and Executive Sponsor for Art at the Trust, said: “We are delighted to display this inspiring artwork created by Kingston University students. Bringing creative work into the hospital helps foster a positive environment that supports the health and wellbeing of patients, visitors and staff, while showcasing the talent and creativity of local students.”

Representatives from Kingston University and STUDIO KT1 recently joined students and Trust colleagues to celebrate the official launch of the exhibition, which is free to view.
