Congratulations to Emily Shuttleworth, Hepatology Clinical Nurse Specialist, who was awarded Silver for Gastrointestinal Nurse of the Year in last month’s British Journal of Nursing's annual awards.

The award recognised Emily’s work to further develop the Trust's hepatology service for complex patients with liver disease. Emily has created and managed cancer surveillance pathways for patients, improved Hepatitis B care, and developed a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) for those with complex needs.
