Free MSK support tool for staff

Following feedback from the Staff Survey, we’re pleased to introduce Phio, a clinically led digital assessment tool available 24/7 to support staff with musculoskeletal (MSK) concerns. 

Get fast access to expert support, including:

  • A personalised self-management programme
  • Guided exercise routines
  • Ongoing remote monitoring by qualified physiotherapists

The Phio assessment takes around 10 minutes to complete, and your answers will always be assessed by Phio’s qualified physiotherapy team. Following your assessment, you’ll be guided to the most appropriate care.

This may include:

  • Urgent care where clinically required
  • Referral or booking for a physiotherapy appointment
  • Advice and tailored exercises to manage symptoms at home

Phio is designed to help you take control of your MSK health, with personalised recommendations to support your recovery and wellbeing.This new tool adds to the support already available through our rapid access staff physio service and Occupational Health team.

Phio is being offered as a fully funded one-year trial and we encourage all staff experiencing muscle, joint, or bone issues to make use of this new service.
