Inclusive award - Medical Unit Office lowres.jpgEach month, staff nominate colleagues who they feel deserve extra recognition for living our values in their day to day work:

  • Compassionate
  • Inclusive
  • Collaborative
  • Inspiring

This could be for consistently making a difference to patients or staff, or for a specific example of going above and beyond.

Winners receive a framed certificate and a small token gift to say thank you for a job well done.

We’re very proud to celebrate the dedication and service of colleagues whose contributions to healthcare have spanned many years, with special awards for 25, 30 and 40 years of service.

Colleagues receive a framed certificate and an engraved pin badge to wear on their uniform or lanyard.

Every week, we share staff shoutouts from across the organisation - little words of support and thanks that show our appreciation for one another.

Sometimes this is a simple thank you for someone who has made the working day a little brighter, but they can include incredible acts of kindness and compassion. It's a frequent reminder that we're all part of one team, working together to provide the best services possible for local people.

Our Chief Executive, Jo Farrar, also includes feedback from patients and carers in his weekly message to staff, which is a great reminder about why we do what we do.
