Having a blood test at Kingston hospital

Kingston Hospital provides a blood test service. This is sometimes called ‘phlebotomy’.

Important

  • All tests must be booked in advance.
  • If the test is ordered by your GP, bring the blood test form with you. This form will have barcode labels on the top.
  • When you arrive, check in at outpatient reception where it says ‘Outpatient appointments’. Then go to ‘Blood tests’ by the entrance.

This service is for anyone aged 7 and above. For tests for younger children, call 020 8934 6403.

To learn more about blood, urine and other tests, go to Lab Tests Online.

How to book

All blood tests must be booked online or by telephone. Same day bookings may be available.

To book online, go to the Sangix website. If you have not booked a test online before, you will need to sign up by filling in the short form. This takes about 5 minutes.

You can do this on smartphone, tablet or PC.

Telephone booking

If you cannot book online, call the automated booking line on 020 3870 5766.

If you cannot book yourself
