Call the team:

  • if your own or the patient's condition gets worse and you still have concerns after you have spoken to the ward nurse or doctor.

When not to call

  • Do not call if you have any other concerns, such as issues with the hospital bed, room, food, parking
  • Do not call if you have a complaint about care that is not urgent.

For these concerns, speak to a member of the ward team or ask for the nurse in charge or matron.
