Dr Michelle A. Camarata is a Consultant Hepatologist and Gastroenterologist at Kingston Hospital. She graduated with distinction from Imperial College School of Medicine and completed her postgraduate training in gastroenterology across London and Surrey. She subsequently undertook advanced subspecialty hepatology training through the Liver National Training Number (NTN) programme at the King’s College Hospital Liver Unit and Imperial College Healthcare Trust.

Dr Camarata spent a year in the United States as a Research Fellow at Yale University, where she established an international multi-site registry study and completed a Research MD as part of her academic work. She has co-authored several peer-reviewed scientific publications and book chapters, and has presented her research at international conferences.
