Dr Sergeev is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at Kingston Hospital, where he has been practising since 2023. He is also co-chair of the Upper GI Cancer Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), playing a key role in coordinating the care of patients with suspected gastrointestinal cancers.

Dr Sergeev graduated from Tel Aviv University and completed his specialist training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at Meir Medical Centre in Israel. Following several years of consultant practice, he undertook an 18-month fellowship at the Wingate Institute of Neurogastroenterology at Queen Mary University of London, further developing his expertise in oesophageal disorders. During this time, he published peer-reviewed research and contributed to book chapters on reflux disease.

His specialist interests include oesophageal conditions such as acid reflux, eosinophilic oesophagitis, Barrett’s oesophagus, supragastric belching, and achalasia.

Dr Sergeev is highly experienced in both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, including colonoscopy, gastroscopy, and transnasal endoscopy. He also performs advanced procedures such as polyp removal and stricture dilatation.
