Dr Muralidhara (aka Dr Murali) runs endocrine clinics providing care for a wide range of endocrine conditions including thyroid, parathyroid, pituitary, adrenal, gonadal (ovarian and testicular) disorders. He works with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for people with thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, and pituitary conditions. He has an ARSAC licence and runs the radioactive iodine service for benign thyroid conditions.
In addition to his experience in managing endocrine conditions, he has clinical expertise in managing type 1 and type 2 diabetes. He has provided clinical leadership to young adult diabetes services and has worked on delivering high-quality innovative care. He has also led an integrated type 2 diabetes service whose innovative approach to outreaching people’s needs received local and national awards.
He qualified in 1998 at the University of Bangalore before obtaining an MD in general medicine from RGUHS University, Bangalore. His diabetes and endocrinology training were at renowned hospitals, including Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals. He also holds an MBA (Aston university). He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians.
