New NHS league tables have been published today by the Department of Health and Social Care, ranking Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust 31st out of 134 acute trusts in England, based on performance between April and June 2025.

Through the new NHS Oversight Framework, each NHS trust is assessed against national priorities in areas such as reducing waiting times, emergency care, patient safety, and workforce. Each Trust is ranked according to their average score and placed into one of five segments. To reflect the need for the NHS to recover financially, any trust in financial deficit is limited to segment 3, regardless of their wider performance.

NHS England will update and publish these ratings four times each year.

Jo Farrar, Chief Executive of Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust, said: “We welcome the introduction of the new Framework as an important opportunity for people to review and understand their local healthcare services. We are proud that our strong performance in areas such as access to services, elective and cancer care, and patient and staff experience, reflects the dedication and hard work of our staff, who consistently put high-quality patient care at the centre of what they do.

“As a Trust, we remain committed to providing the best possible care for our local communities, while taking further steps to live within our financial means. We continue to keep a clear focus on learning, improving, and working with partners to do even better.”
