Acute Assessment Unit
About us
The Fracture Liaison service helps people who are at risk of a broken bone (a 'fracture') because they have weak bones.
We look after people who are aged over 50 and who have broken a bone with only a mild knock or gentle fall. We also help people who have been identified as having weak bones during a scan.
Our aim is to help people reduce their risk of broken bones in the future.
