Hampton & Hampton Hill Voluntary Care (H&HHVC)
H&HHVC seeks to be a good neighbour to people in TW12 suffering social isolation through infirmity or mobility problems or who may be providing unpaid care to a friend or relative.
Services offered include:
- Befriending service: regular telephone calls or home visits
- Community transport: volunteer car drivers taking people to essential health appointments, wellbeing activities or social groups in the local area
- Social groups such men’s group, women’s group and book club
- Regular social events and activities
- Support with weekly grocery shop and prescription collections
H&HHVC manages the Greenwood Community Centre, which offers:
- Exercise, yoga and Pilates groups for all abilities
- Activity groups such as bridge and guitar clubs
- Singing for the brain for people living with memory loss
- Exercise groups for people living with Parkinson’s Disease
- Counselling services for adults and young people, including low-cost options.

Kew Neighbourhood Association
Kew Neighbourhood Association ensures Kew’s residents who need a helping hand are connected with volunteers who drive, shop, befriend and carry out light gardening. Services offered include:
- Transport to medical appointments.
- Transport to local social activities like the Avenue Club and leisure classes.
- Driving local people to the shops, the post office, the hairdresser or just to visit friends.
- Home visitors and companions provide regular visits to people who would like some company.
- Help with shopping.
- Help with light gardening.
Our services are free of charge. Volunteers give their time freely and can claim an allowance for car mileage from KNA.
